Pakistan has hiked the levy on high-octane fuel for luxury vehicles by PKR 200, bringing the price to PKR 300 per litre. While public transport is unaffected, recent surges in petrol (PKR 321.17) and diesel (PKR 335.86) have already driven up airline fares. Domestic tickets rose by up to PKR 5,000, with international travel jumping by PKR 28,000.
