Sam Bahadur is based on the life of the legendary Chief of the Army Staff and Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film is directed by 'Chhapaak' filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and also casts Sanya Malhotra as Sam Manekshaw's wife Siloo Manekshaw.
