A Dalit man, who married an upper-caste woman and is facing an arrest warrant for abducting her, has been granted interim protection from arrest by the Supreme Court. A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Abhay S. Oka issued notice to Jharkhand Govt asking it to file its reply.
