The Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government strongly opposed the plea of the Central government. A bench of Chief Justice of India NV Ramana, Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli reserved orders on an application filed by the Centre seeking referral to a Constitution bench for a holistic interpretation of Article 239AA.
