Tom Suozzi, raised the issue of desecration of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Melville in the US House of Representatives. He spoke about the rise in the acts of vandalism, bigotry and hate. He said that Hindus place hands together and greet people with namaste to show respect to them.
