Germany-based AUMOVIO is cutting 1,000 jobs in India, representing 17 per cent of its local workforce, as part of a global R&D restructuring. The firm aims to focus on software-defined vehicles and AI-driven safety systems. Most reductions will be completed by 2026 through what the company describes as socially responsible measures.
