Hyundai has commenced testing a new compact SUV in India, codenamed HE1i, aimed at rivaling the Tata Punch.ev. Featuring a rugged, boxy design with Ioniq 5-inspired LED lighting, the vehicle is expected to launch by early 2027. It will likely use localized LFP batteries and offer premium tech-focused features.
