According to the RBI holiday calendar, Saturday, January 17, is not a nationwide bank holiday. The RBI has declared a holiday in Chennai for Saturday in view of the Uzhavar Thirunal festival. In other parts of India, including major financial hubs like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, banks will remain fully operational today.
