On the occasion of Republic Day 2026, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) revealed the list of Padma awardees for this year. In the field of arts, iconic playback singer Alka Yagnik and Mollywood superstar Mammootty were conferred with the Padma Bhushan. Taking to her Instagram handle, the singer expressed her heartfelt gratitude after receiving the honour.
