Deepak Mukut has dismissed rumours that 'Apne 2' has been shelved, confirming that the film is very much in progress and will serve as a tribute to the late Dharmendra. The original film, featuring Dharmendra alongside Sunny and Bobby Deol, has been the focus of speculation since the actor’s passing, as it remained extremely close to his heart.
