Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s production 'Secrets of a Mountain Serpent,' directed by Nidhi Saxena, will premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2025. The lyrical film, set in a 1990s Himalayan town, explores desire, myth, and femininity. Saxena is the first Indian woman to win the Biennale College Fund grant for the project.
