Actor Eric Dane, best known for his role as Dr Mark Sloan on the TV show 'Grey's Anatomy' and as Cal Jacobs on the HBO series 'Euphoria', passed away at the age of 53 on February 19, 2026, confirmed by his family. Eric Dane was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in 2025.
