Wersching was born and raised in St Louis by parents Sandy and Frank. Her first major role was as Amelia Joffe on General Hospital. She went on to star as Renee Walker in Seasons 7 and 8 of 24. She is survived by her husband and children Freddie, 12; Ozzie, and Archie, 4.
