Indian 2, written and directed by Shankar, is a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian. Releasing in Hindi as Hindustani 2 and in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2, the movie has Kamal Haasan back in the lead, along with Siddharth, Rakul Preet, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani and Nedumudi Venu in the ensemble cast.
