PAN-Aadhaar linking is mandatory for select PAN holders by December 31, 2025. PANs issued using Aadhaar enrolment ID must be linked with Aadhaar, or they will turn inoperative from January 1, 2026, affecting ITR filing, refunds, banking, investments and KYC compliance.
