The 8th Pay Commission is set to revise salaries, allowances and pensions for central government employees. With the fitment factor at the core, entry-level pay may rise from INR 18,000 to around INR 51,480. Around 50 lakh employees and 65 lakh pensioners are expected to benefit once implemented.
