Doctors at AIIMS Delhi successfully removed a massive 19.9 kg tumour from a 43-year-old woman suffering from Stage-4 colon cancer. Led by Prof. M.D. Ray, the two-stage surgery on January 12 and 15 involved multi-organ resection and HIPEC (heated chemotherapy). Previously deemed inoperable, the patient was discharged on January 20 in stable condition.
