After winning the Orizzonti Award for Best Director at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, filmmaker Anuparna Roy’s directorial ‘Songs of Forgotten Trees’ has been chosen as the closing night film at the 11th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Sydney (IFFS).
