Conflicting set of petitions, against the Allahabad High Court's 2011 order, has demanded the Supreme Court to handover the land's possession to either of the two communities. While the Muslim Personal Law Board has appealed the bench to allocate the land for Babri Masjid -- the mosque which stood at the site since 16th century.
