The coronavirus pandemic has not stopped countriesā development in terms of building basic infrastructures like highways and expressways. India has already set a record for highway construction in the current fiscal year as it has exceeded the target of 11,000 km (30 km/day). India is looking to touch 40 km/day by the end of 2021.
