A stray dog in Bijnor, hailed as a "divine" incarnation for circling a Hanuman idol in Uttar Pradesh, was actually in neurological distress. Diagnosed with a tick-borne bacterial infection (Anaplasma) that affected his brain, the canine - named Bhairav - was rescued and treated in Noida. Doctors clarified his behaviour was a medical symptom, not an act of faith.
