The construction of tunnels near Pakistan and China border has gained momentum. A global tender has been issued for the construction of a state of the art tunnel under the Brahmaputra in Assam. The tender was issued by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for the construction of the tunnel under the Brahmaputra River.
