Chemists and druggists across India observed a nationwide strike on Wednesday in protest against the online sale of medicines and the expansion of e-pharmacy platforms. The shutdown, called by the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD), is aimed at pressuring the government to tighten regulations governing online medicine delivery.
