Two police personnel in Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot, including an SHO, have been suspended for not taking prompt action in the case of a minor Dalit girl who was gang raped last week and later committed suicide. The police personnel did not register the victim's complaint and asked her family to 'bring strong evidence' for an FIR to be registered.
