The Central government increased commercial LPG allocation to 70 per cent of demand to assist industries like steel and textiles hit by Iran war disruptions. To access the extra 20 per cent, firms must apply for PNG connections. Meanwhile, Iran has agreed to allow more Indian LPG ships through the Strait of Hormuz following diplomatic talks.
