Hours after the four accused in rape and murder of female veterinary doctors were sent to 14 days judicial remand, locals hurled slippers on police after cops stopped them from entering Shadnagar police station. To bring the situation under control, police resorted to the lathicharge on the locals who hurled slippers on the cops.
