In one of the largest cash seizures in the history of Odisha’s anti-corruption operations, Vigilance officials recovered over ₹4 crore in unaccounted currency from the residence of a senior mines official on Wednesday. The massive discovery followed a successful "trap" operation where the official was allegedly caught accepting a relatively small bribe of ₹30,000.
