The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) secured two-day transit custody of Shubham Khairnar, an accused in the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case, as the agency intensified its probe into what investigators describe as a multi-state examination racket. Khairnar, a resident of Maharashtra’s Nashik district, was produced before a local court in Mumbai.
