A 21-year-old engineering student died early Sunday morning after allegedly jumping from the 28th-floor balcony of a high-rise residential society in Sector 32. Preliminary police investigations suggest the woman took the extreme step following a dispute with her parents. The deceased, identified as Arpita, was a second-year BTech student at a private university in Punjab.
