PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in Sanand today, marking a major milestone in India’s quest to become a global hub for electronics manufacturing. The plant, established by U.S.-based chipmaker Micron Technology with an investment of ₹22,516 crore, is the first large-scale unit of its kind in the country.
