The Nifty climbed 298.15 points, or 1.24 per cent, to settle at 24,330.95, while the Sensex surged 940.73 points, or 1.22 per cent, to end at 77,958.52. Commenting on Nifty technical outlook, experts said that the markets staged a strong rebound, with Nifty closing above the immediate resistance at 24,300 levels.
