The 'Love Jihad' or anti-conversion laws enacted and legislated by the states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has been challenged in the apex court. The Supreme Court has agreed to examine the validity of the laws and reports say that notices will be sent to the states. However, the court has refused to put a stay on the working of the laws in both the states.
