Punjab Congress has formally expelled Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu from the party’s primary membership for a period of six years on grounds of "indiscipline." The move comes shortly after Sidhu, a former MLA and wife of veteran leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, publicly used derogatory language to describe Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
