Bihar CM Nitish Kumar officially filed his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. Accompanied by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and senior National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders, the 75-year-old JD(U) supremo submitted his candidacy at the Bihar Legislative Assembly, effectively paving the way for his departure from the Chief Minister’s office.
