During the rally in Bishnupur, PM Modi claimed that the TMC, in collusion with the Congress and other opposition parties, deliberately prevented the passage of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill in the Lok Sabha. The bill sought to ensure 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies by 2029.
