Nobody would’ve thought that the current need for masks will actually remind us of the mayhem of the influenza pandemic of 1918 whose first cases were documented in the US, and then in France, Germany, the UK, eventually spreading out in Spain – it affected around 1/3rd of the world’s population overall.
