The UAE officially announced that Eid al-Fitr 2026 will begin on Friday, March 20, after the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted on Wednesday evening. Consequently, Ramadan will complete 30 days. Public and private sector employees will enjoy a unified holiday break starting from 29 Ramadan, with celebrations expected to conclude on Sunday.
