Krishna Janmashtami 2025 will be observed on Saturday, August 16. This auspicious celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth is marked with devotion, fasting, and joyous festivities. Observed on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, devotees decorate temples and homes with flowers, lights, and jhankis (tableaus) depicting Krishna’s life.
