A study by AIIMS Bhopal warns that Parvovirus B19, usually linked to mild childhood rashes, can cause severe brain infections like encephalitis. Spread via respiratory droplets, it poses high risks to children, the elderly, and those with blood disorders. Treatment is supportive, as no vaccine currently exists for the virus.
