Connie Hallowell, from Umkomaas, in South Africa, survived and this encounter is called a "miracle". Last Saturday, Hallowell was spearfishing in the sea off Scottburgh Beach, south of Durban, where the whole incident took place. Thankfully he was able to make it to the shore after the lifeguards treated him.
