On the new year episode of WWE NXT Jan 1, 2020, wrestlers from the gold and black brand were honoured with various awards. WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole won male competitor of the year award, while Shayna Baszler won in the female division category. It was indeed a special night for NXT Champion as he won total four awards.
