Anthropic has reportedly revoked OpenAI’s API access to its Claude models over alleged violations of terms of service. OpenAI is said to have used Claude via internal developer APIs for testing ahead of GPT-5's launch. While Anthropic flagged misuse, both companies acknowledged benchmarking is standard practice.
