KPMG Australia has fined a senior partner AUD 10,000 for using AI to pass an AI ethics test. The breach is one of 28 cases identified this year. While senators have criticised the penalty as insufficient, the firm has pledged to publicly report all AI-related misconduct in its future annual results.
