Google has launched Gemma 4, a new family of open models featuring advanced reasoning and agentic capabilities. Released under an Apache 2.0 license, the models range from mobile-efficient 2B versions to a high-performance 31B variant. Gemma 4 supports 140+ languages and processes multimodal data, including video and audio, across diverse hardware.
