Amdocs is planning to lay off 7 to 10 per cent of its 29,000-strong global workforce as part of a broad organisational redesign. The cuts follow the appointment of new CEO Shimie Hortig, who is leading a shift in the firm’s operating model. Amdocs has conducted several rounds of layoffs over the past five years to remain competitive.
