State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is expanding its Global Satellite Phone Service (GSPS) across India to provide connectivity in areas beyond the reach of mobile towers. In partnership with Inmarsat, the satellite-based service offers secure voice calling and SMS services across the mainland and territorial waters.
