A Munich court has imposed an Acer Asus Germany sales ban on laptops and PCs after ruling the firms infringed Nokia’s HEVC video patents. The court found the companies were "unwilling licensees" under FRAND terms. While retailers can sell existing stock, new imports are halted until a licensing deal is reached.
