Japan-based electronics giant Panasonic will reportedly lay off 4% of its employees as part of a major cost-cutting and profit-boosting drive. The Panasonic layoffs will affect 10,000 employees, of which 5,000 will be from the domestic and 5,000 from the international workforce.
