The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has written to X over its failure to comply with statutory due diligence obligations under IT Act, 2000, and other laws, seeking an Action Report and steps to prevent hosting, generation, upload of obscene, nude, indecent, sexually explicit content through the misuse of AI-based services like Grok, other xAI tools.
