Zeehsan Patel, xAI’s first video generation hire, has resigned after less than a year at Elon Musk’s AI venture. Joining in May 2025, he led the rapid creation of Grok Imagine, evolving it to version 1.0, now widely used across X and the Grok app, before pursuing a new, undisclosed venture.
